Optimize your finishing operations with Abtex brushing tools and automated deburring systems from a single, reliable source. Efficient, consistent deburring depends on brushing media and drive system compatibility. That’s why Abtex Corporation made the commitment early in its history to manufacture both the media and the equipment to assure optimal results from its premium brushes.
Abtex manufactures a full range of deburring and surface treatment systems that are designed to address each customer's specific application, including our Nylon Abrasive Brushes, ideal for deburring polycarbonate materials. Abrasive filaments have been used in brush format for a variety of industrial applications including deburring, edge radiusing and surface finishing.
Abtex Corporation, a leader in the manufacture of deburring technology systems, has expanded its capabilities to include robotic deburring systems. Abtex custom designs, engineers and integrates each system for customer applications. As the photo shows, a maneuverable arm moves workpieces to allow the deburring of multiple surfaces in a single operation. The system in the photo also allows the robot to service several tools. After deburring with the Abtex abrasive filament radial wheel brush, the robot arm will move the workpiece to the Artifex soft polishing wheel for finishing.
